What a suit costs, before you walk in
Not many tailors in Patong put a number on their website. We would like you to arrive already knowing roughly what you will pay.
By build level
The price follows the construction
The same cloth costs more in a hand finished build than in an express one, because more hours go into it. Every price below is a starting point for that garment at that level.

Prices are per garment and include the cloth, every fitting and alterations before you collect. A 50 percent deposit confirms the order.

Three things decide the final price

The cloth
A tropical wool, a linen and a cashmere blend sit at very different prices. We tell you what a cloth is made of and what it weighs, so you can compare like with like.

The construction
A fused front is glued. A half or full canvas is stitched, and holds its shape for years longer. It is the largest difference you cannot see on the day you collect.

The time
More days means more fittings, and every fitting catches a kind of error the one before could not. That is what the price of a slower build pays for.
Questions
Before you ask for a quote
Why is an express suit cheaper?
Because less work goes into it. An express build has a fused front, machine buttonholes and a single fitting. We price it below the standard build and are upfront about the trade-off, with no extra rush fee on top.
Do you charge for extra fittings?
No. Fitting time is built into the price. Once you have ordered, you can come back as many times as your schedule allows before you collect.
How do I pay?
A 50 percent deposit when you order, which commits the cloth, and the rest when you collect.
Will I get the price in writing?
Yes. At the first appointment we go through cloth, construction and timing, and finish with a written quote before anything is cut.
Why does a suit on Bangla Road cost less?
