Who we are
New David Jone Fashion is a bespoke tailor shop at 237/7 Patong OTOP Shopping Paradise, Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road, Patong Beach, Kathu, Phuket 83150, Thailand. We operate the website newdjtailor.com and we are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

What information we collect
We only collect what we need in order to answer you, to make your garments and to run the website.
- Contact details you give us. Your name, email address, phone number and any message you send through the contact form, the appointment form, WhatsApp, email or in the shop.
- Appointment details. The date and time you would like to visit, your hotel or the address where you want us to meet you, and what you are looking to have made.
- Body measurements. When you order a garment we record your measurements so that your next order starts from a pattern that already fits you. These are kept on file together with your name and contact details.
- Order and delivery details. What you ordered, what you paid, and the shipping address if the garment is sent to you rather than collected in the shop.
- Website usage data. If you accept analytics cookies we receive anonymous statistics about which pages are visited, from which country, and on what kind of device. See the cookie section below.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as health data, religious belief or identity document numbers. Please do not send such information to us.
Why we use it
- To answer you. Replying to an enquiry, confirming an appointment, sending a quote.
- To make and deliver your garments. Cutting to your measurements, arranging fittings, shipping the finished order.
- To serve you again. Keeping your measurements so a repeat order can be made without you travelling back to Phuket.
- To run and improve the website. Understanding which pages are useful, and keeping the site secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement. Both are switched off by default. Nothing is stored on your device for analytics or advertising purposes until you choose to accept it, and if you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set.
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function, for example remembering your cookie choice itself, are always active, because the site cannot work without them.
Your choice is remembered in your browser for twelve months. You can change it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for newdjtailor.com, which will bring the consent banner back. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
The website also embeds a Google Maps frame on our store page and links out to WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram. When you use those, the relevant provider’s own privacy policy applies.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only where it is needed to do the job, and only with:
- Shipping companies, when a finished garment is sent to you, they receive your name, address and phone number.
- Google, as the provider of the analytics and advertising measurement described above, and only if you have accepted those cookies.
- Our hosting and email providers, who store the website and the messages you send us.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept only as long as we need them to answer you. Order records and measurements are kept for as long as you remain a customer, so that we can make your next garment without measuring you again. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
[TILL KUNDEN] State a concrete retention period for customer records and measurements, for example “seven years” for accounting records, or “until the customer asks us to delete them”. Thai tax law generally requires business accounting records to be kept; check what your accountant recommends.
Where your information is held
We are based in Thailand and our customer records are held here. Our website, analytics and email services are provided by companies that may store data on servers outside Thailand, including in the European Union and the United States. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place.
Your rights
Under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act, and under the GDPR if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy of it;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
- stop using it for a particular purpose, or withdraw a consent you previously gave;
- receive your information in a portable format, or have it sent to someone else.
Write to newdavidjonefashion@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand, or to the data protection authority in your own country.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 without the consent of a parent or guardian. We do of course make garments for children, in that case it is the accompanying adult whose details we record.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including transmitting this website over an encrypted connection and limiting access to customer records to the people who need them. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
