Our shop at 237/7 OTOP Shopping Paradise is a 7-minute walk from the Bangla Road entrance. If you’re staying in any Patong Beach hotel along Thaweewong, Prachanukroh, or Hemaraj Road, you can walk to us in under 15 minutes. Here’s the route, with landmarks you’ll recognise.
Starting point: Bangla Road entrance at the beach
Stand at the start of Bangla Road where it meets Thaweewong Road, the street that runs along the beach. You’re facing inland (east), with the ocean behind you.
Walking time: 7 minutes from this point.
Step 1, walk up Bangla Road (3 minutes)
Walk straight east along Bangla Road, past the bar street that Patong is famous for. You’ll pass:
- Jungceylon Mall entrance on your left after about 2 minutes. This is a useful landmark, if you’ve gone past Jungceylon and you’re still on Bangla, you’ve gone too far.
- Traffic lights at Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road. This is where Bangla ends.
Turn left at the traffic lights onto Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road.
Step 2, walk north on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road (4 minutes)
You’re now on the main commercial road that runs parallel to the beach, one block inland. On your right as you walk north, you’ll see:
- 7-Eleven and local coffee shops for about 200 metres.
- Big C Patong supermarket on your left.
- OTOP Shopping Paradise, a two-story retail complex on your right, about 400 metres up from Bangla.
We’re at 237/7, Unit 101, front-left of the OTOP building, visible from the street. Look for the “New David Jone Fashion” sign in gold lettering.
Alternative routes
From south Patong (Kalim direction)
If you’re staying near Kalim Bay or Kata Beach side of Patong, take a tuk-tuk or short taxi ride to Bangla Road. Walking is possible but 25+ minutes.
From Soi Saen Sabai or Soi Bangla backstreets
These run parallel to Bangla. Exit onto Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road and walk north, same endpoint.
From Hemaraj Road (north Patong)
Come south on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road. OTOP is on your left after you pass the police station.
Things to eat on the walk
If you’re making a morning visit, stop for:
- Patong Bakery on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road, good coffee and croissants.
- Roti Bank at the Bangla corner, thin crispy roti with banana.
- 7-Eleven toastie, the Thai tourist classic.
For lunch after fitting:
- Savoey Seafood (5-minute walk from OTOP), reliable Thai seafood.
- No. 6 Restaurant (7-minute walk), local favourite, sit outside.
- Joe’s Cafe, Western breakfast, good if you need AC and wifi.
Accessibility
The walk is entirely on paved sidewalk. Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road has wide pavements and the OTOP entrance is step-free with ramp access. Wheelchairs and strollers fit comfortably.
If walking isn’t practical, a tuk-tuk from Bangla to OTOP is THB 200 (standard tourist fare). A regular taxi is THB 150-200 metered. Grab app works well in Patong and is often cheaper.
What to bring to your visit
- Reference photos of suits you like (saved on your phone).
- The shoes you’ll wear with the suit.
- A fitted shirt if you own one.
- A companion if possible, a second pair of eyes is useful at fittings.
- Cash or card for the 50% deposit (THB or major currencies accepted).

- Early afternoon 11:00-13:00 (quietest).
- After 19:00 (locals pick up finished suits; energetic atmosphere).
Busiest:
- 14:00-17:00 during high season (November to March).
Landmarks around the shop
Once you arrive at OTOP Shopping Paradise, orient yourself:
- David Jone Fashion, main entrance, left corner, street-facing.
- Patong Food Park, food court in the same building, 2nd floor.
- Thai massage shops, 3 different ones in OTOP if you want a post-fitting relax.
- Souvenir stalls, on the ground floor, useful for gifts.
- ATMs, Kasikorn Bank ATM inside OTOP, Bangkok Bank across the street.
